Resident Evil 2 is available now for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. What is more likely is that Capcom has made some changes and fixed bugs for The Ghost Survivors gameplay mode that launched with the last update. It made them good money and will still make more in the future. REmake 3 was a smaller projected made by different people who made the best modern Resident Evil titles and it was never meant to be that good, although I believe they thought it wouldnt turn out that bad. No details about the bugs that were fixed were shared by Capcom, and since this seems to be a minor update, it is highly unlikely that they will share any information around them. The way I see it Capcom already got what they wanted.
